Day 7 – One sweet day: Louvre, Tuileries Garden, Concord, Grand Palais, Petit Palais, Avenue des Champs-Élysées & Arc de Triomphe
Today was a big day. With our Paris 4-day Museum Pass in hand, it was time to do some serious site-seeing. The goal was to get from the Louvre to the Arc de Triomphe before dinner. Could we do it?
The plan today was to start with a helping of 19th century art at the Musée d'Orsay, and then stroll through Hemingway's old hood, Boulevard Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Day 10 – The Latin Quarter: Marché Mouffetard, Pantheon, The Sorbonne, Luxembourg Garden + The Pompidou Centre
This Saturday began with a trip to one of Paris' oldest markets, took us past one of Europe's oldest universities, and ended in the company of some of the world's finest modern art.
Fourteen days and thirteen nights later, it was time to say goodbye to the city that had changed our lives forever. It's true what they say – Paris really is "The City of Love", and it was impossible not to fall in love with her.
